My Thoughts:

Oh, goodness! My rib cage and sides STILL hurt over how much this book had me laughing! I swear, my husband looked at me like I’d grown a second head. This book is truly a gem when it comes to romantic comedies.

Between Bri’s sassy personality and Dante’s ego, I knew these two were going to capture my heart. I absolutely adore the banter, as well as the push and pull of fighting the feelings of aggravation and attraction they feel. Bri is sassy yet also adorable – especially in how she chooses alternatives for curse words.

The kidnapping is unlike any other you’ll read about — and for good reason. It’s kind of silly, but completely works for this duo’s dynamic. Dante is a little grump and at times, dark, yet he has this side that completely melts like that frosting in his mouth when it comes to Bri. He is the perfect balance for her – bringing out a side of herself that she was desperately seeking.

Even with the epilogue — and the extended one — I wasn’t ready to be done with these two. It’s rare that I do a re-read, but this one is too good not to re-live!
