From the moment I met Magnolia in Noah and Fisher’s book, I knew her story would be full of excitement and emotion with a splash of chaos. What I did not expect was for Tripp to be so…..TRIPP!!! From that dirty cowboy mouth (reserved for only Magnolia) to his incredibly sweet, patient side, he’s the ideal man for our girl!

Magnolia is a handful — but she has a heart of gold and does everything she can to push away the dark clouds that attempt to float around her life. When we learn her backstory, my heart ached for what she went through growing up. Thanks to Noah and her family, she was able to see that there is a lot of life out there to live. And live it up she does!! But her wild streak causes her to make several poor choices. We can all judge and think less of her, but honestly, I know I have been in those shoes and understand how that comes about. What she does after those poor choices is where we really get to see Magnolia shine.

Tripp’s trauma from losing his best friend plays a huge role in the man he becomes. It holds him hostage for quite a while, but when his hand is slightly forced in regard to Magnolia, we see the shift start to happen. He steps up to the plate for Magnolia and I was in awe of how he respected her boundaries. He gave her the best gift in those moments, and I believe that was what helped her grow the most. Tripp’s dedication to frequently being the designated driver and protector of not only Magnolia but his family, too, is such a tribute to Billy and brought tears to my eyes each time. And then he’d do things with his cowboy hat that WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Just read it and find out already.
