Legend is the next of the Everlasting Ink group to fall and trust me — you want to be here for it! It’s a little bit of a slower burn, yet sizzles enough to keep that heat pulling at your heartstrings. Monroe has always been flirty with the guys and if you read the first book, you could see her connection a little more with Legend than with the other guys. Even though she doesn’t quite realize it at first, it’s why she’s so quick to volunteer to marry him.

The forced proximity gives these two a push that was definitely needed for both of them. Even with the age gap, I love how well these two work together. Their dedication to their group of friends, which is really more of a family, is admirable, but I love that they end up with so much more. His use of “my wife” nearly made me squeal with excitement every time he said it. They fall right into the marriage with ease — which is all the more proof that these two are meant to be.

The sweetness of this book is balanced by the spicy moments that will have you blushing a few times. Love like this is rare — but Kaylee makes you believe that it’s out there with her relatable issues that the characters face. It’s worth every moment for that ending!!
