My Thoughts:
Archer has been one of the quieter, more reserved brothers, but I knew when his story was ready to be told, it would be worth the wait. I loved how confident and cool he was about making it known that he wanted Scarlett. And in turn, she was direct with him, too.
Scarlett has been chasing her life through her camera lens, hoping to fulfill her heart while staying true to her free spirit. She wants to live up to the promise of living her life and dreams to her adoptive parents, not willing to settle and disappoint them. But Archer has her transitioning into a new woman — and I loved every second.
Archer’s entire world is centered in Willow River, but as he spends more time with Scarlett, her free spirit begins rubbing off on him. He’s such a family man, fully knowing how it feels to have those you love still surrounding him. Could these two find a way to make both of their dreams come true?
Kaylee Ryan earned her title as the Queen of Swoon for a good reason — you’ll be swooning at the growth of each character as individuals and as a couple. We get some exciting updates about what is happening with the big brood of Kincaid brothers and their wives, as well as a little glimpse of what is to come with the remaining brothers. These two have some pretty powerful, alluring moments that make this another book of the series that you can’t put down!
