Buy When Hearts Awaken
This book is absolutely incredible from start to finish. It’s traumatic, angsty, and full of emotion that leaves your soul feeling raw and stripped. I felt empowered by the strength that Taylor and Charles convey despite the darkness they’ve had to encounter in life. As always, I suggest reading the entire series, but if you’re jumping in on this one, you’ll definitely want to go back and read the first books to get more a complete story of the side characters.
The title is absolute perfection for this angsty, twisted storyline. We get to see two people, who have been through a darkness, awaken to a new life. Charles and Taylor initially clash with their interactions perfectly defining everything I love about the enemies to lovers trope. With time, they begin finding a sense of healing together, building a relationship that can rise above the pain.
I was speechless while reading this book, often stopping to soak up the scene to my own heart and soul. It’s now imprinted, making Taylor and Charles one of my all-time favorite couples of any romance novel! Every detail of their story is magical — don’t skip on this series!!
