The Wife Situation is such a diamond! I would say gem, but seeing as how Easton’s family is involved in diamonds, I thought that fit better. Easton and Lexi were a couple I didn’t know I needed in my life!! I have always adored the fake relationship trope because it’s fun to watch them deny and fight what is happening. More often than not, it’s often the man fighting it, but Lyra flips the switch for us and makes Lexi hesitant.
I absolutely ADORE the fact that Lexi is Remi’s bestie (from Valentine!). But I also love that she found Carlee in New York, too. She has such amazing friends who support her and give her nudges when she gets too deep into her own head. Lexi is anti-love, yet Easton breaks through that barrier, proving that with the right person, things can fall exactly where they’re supposed to.
Easton has taken over my number one spot for billionaires. He’s unlike the typical persona of these billionaire romance heroes and will have you swooning so fast. I love that he calls her darling and quickly begins including “my wife” in those sentiments. He is incredibly giving (beyond money) with his time, effort, and all those little things that truly make up a strong relationship.
From start to finish, this book is full of laughs, swoon, and delicious heat that gives you everything you want in a romance novel. The side characters, including Easton’s twin brother, add some unique aspects that are unlike anything I’ve read. Lyra’s releases keep getting better and better!
