It’s so good to be back at Redemption Ranch and catch up with the Whiskeys! Melissa delivers us a FLAWLESS love story between Sasha and Ezra. I love how their story started when they were teens and grows into a love so deep, true, and one to be envied!
Ezra immediately captured my heart when I learned that he stepped up to the plate after learning he was going to be a father. He is raising the next little Moore heartthrob! Gus is absolutely the sweetest and has a fantastic role model for a father, as well as the extended family he has at the ranch. His nickname of ‘Sugar’ for Sasha is so adorable! Once the timing gets back on track, we get to see Ezra’s struggle with being “good enough” for Sasha turn into pure confidence. He’s a strong, passionate, and completely head over heels for his woman. The BBQ sauce moment had me shrieking out loud and stomping my feet because it was HOT!
Sasha is super sweet, loyal, and an overall good girl. But I love how Ezra brings out that sassy, knows-what-she-wants side that makes these two flame right off the page. She’s wonderful with Gus, giving him support and love that his own mother fails at providing, yet she maintains her boundaries of not overstepping.
My heart swooned at how these two finally get on the same page and begin to accept that they truly deserve one another. I loved getting more out of Tiny in this book — he has such a big heart under all that gruff. And the foreshadowing for Doc has me giddy for more at the ranch!
