Clear your schedule, heart, mind, and soul before you start this book. You’re going to need every ounce of emotion, feeling, and headspace to fill with Harrison and Grace! As much as these two frustrated me, they also fully won my heart over when they finally get out of their own way.
Grace and Harrison have such a deep history together. They’ve been best friends since before they were even born and even ‘shipped by their own mothers. But first, we have to watch both of them struggle with a decision on whether to cross the line in their relationship as friends. On one hand, they’re scared to lose what they have spent their entire lives building. It’s a trust and bond that they don’t have with another soul on earth. On the other hand, their gut gives them the signs that if they did cross the line, they would be extraordinary. Instead, they listen to their heads, allowing doubts in themselves to spin them into the arms of others.
The connection gives us fun banter, flirty comments that expose their underlying feelings, and some of the best heat between the sheets! The Valentine siblings all make it known that they would be happy for Harrison and Grace, hilariously and relentlessly pushing both to quit being chickens. Even though Harrison has a bit of a reputation for the women he’s been with, I feel like a lot of it may be assumed based on how he’s always rushing to Grace’s side when things go south in the relationships she’s been in. Very few women would be happy with him dropping them to take care of Grace so often.
