I’ve known Ryder McAdams my entire life. We’re neighbors and our families are besties. He’s also friends and teammates with my younger brother, Maverick.

My Thoughts:

This is a first of Jennifer Sucevic’s books for me. But it will NOT be the last! Admittingly, I am super picky about enemies to lovers. They have to be believable as enemies and the tension needs to hold on even as they transition out of the enemies stage. Sucevic executes this on a level that far surpasses most enemy to lover books!

While reading, I smiled and laughed out loud at the banter, swooned when I could feel Ryder falling as he claimed ‘MINE’ for Juliett, and anxiously awaited as they worked their way through her bucket list. The heat between these two had me fanning myself and even moving in front of the A/C vent while reading. This book is a full-on love affair that you’ll want to slow down and savor every word to the very end! This definitely ranks at the top of my favorites trope and I will be ordering a hard copy for my bookshelf.

Juliette’s drive is admirable, but I love how she decides to proceed with her pre-college bucket list. It helps her grow immensely through the process while also allowing her blossom within her current responsibilities. Her parents are cute as can be and definitely goals!! Looking forward to the next book of this series.
